Guests travel between them in a journey of three to sixteen nights, and Paro Lodge is a 20-minute drive from Paro International Airport. Paro is hidden in pine forest at 2,250 metres, with a view of snow-covered Jomolhari and a dining room terrace facing the 17th-century Drukgyel Dzong. Thimphu looks over the capital from a forest. Punakha is a 300-year-old farmhouse above rice paddies near Punakha Dzong, Gangtey overlooks the 16th-century Gangtey Goemba monastery from farmland, and Bumthang stands beside Wandichholing Palace in the town of Jakar. The bathrooms have terrazzo-clad bathtubs, and at Bumthang twin vanities and a separate shower and toilet. Bumthang adds a terrace courtyard with a firepit and a private dining room for groups of up to 32.
